Completed week 7 today. Had to take a few extra days of rest so was a bit worried I wouldn’t complete today’s 25 minutes but I’m glad to say I did. had a hitch with the app so I think I did a bit more than the 25. Still a bit of a mental battle to keep the legs working but I do think it’s getting better. Am really slow but at my age (76) I’m not worried as long as my heart rate is up I know it’s doing me good !! I do 5k on every outing by adding on extra walking at the end and it takes me less than 50 minutes.

Hi Dorothy, I have my first 25 minute run coming up tomorrow (week 6 run 3). Now it is getting a bit harder I decided to take 2 days rest in-between rather than just the one day, which has been mostly okay until now. It is the knees! I also do 5k each time, adding extra fast walking at the end so I have a decent outing. My trips also last around 50 minutes so we must be on a similar pace :)

Go slow seems to be the secret ! Working for me so far !
