I honestly never thought I’d get to the stage where I’d manage to overcome this run. I’ve tried C25k so many times before and always chickened out at this point. I got up today and kept pushing running back to later and later and then I just put my trainers on and decided to go for it. My mind kept saying ‘oh you’ll have to stop once you get to X building or Y corner...’ but I didn’t. I never stopped until Sarah told me to slow down because I’d made it. I burst into tears and got very many strange looks. But I did it, I overcame that mental and physical barrier and I don’t think I’ve ever surprised myself that much before.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
Well done! I did that run last week. Find using landmarks (hedges, poo bins, lamp posts, etc) really help me too. It's surprising what we can achieve if we tell our minds to shut up!!
