Blisters

I have been getting blisters on the inside of my feet every time I run and one day isn’t enough time to heal them so when I run again it hurts. I know it’s my shoes as they haven’t been fitted but I can’t go anywhere to get fitted, for obvious reasons, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips. Tried blister plasters but they just came off when my feet got sweaty🥴

Try leukotape it can be ordered from amazon. I’ve used it (heavy duty tape) stops the rubbing. Worked well for me

I was having problems with blisters on my heels but like you getting fitted for shoes isn’t possible. I was advised to get some running socks which I’ve done and it’s made a difference, they are a bit thicker and help to reduce the friction.

Good luck!

Okay I will have a look into them as well I’m using regular primark socks at the moment so maybe I need an upgrade 🤣

You could try compeed or vaseline...

Running socks..

My wife swears by hilly running socks which are double skinned, says they're very comfortable, but luckily has never suffered blisters.

When you can, would advise a fitting for running shoes.

She has also just got a new pair of running shoes, karrimor tempo5 from sports direct online for £39.99 plus post, so, reasonably priced, she got the same shoes that she had before as she liked them for comfort & fit, in a medium size7, one size up from her normal shoe size.

But bear in mind that what suits one person may not suit another. 👣👟

Thank you,

I might give vaseline a go and look into the socks.

Yes I want to get running shoes fitted and I don't want to look online since I already struggle getting shoes due to wide feet so i'd rather be 100% sure before I buy 🙂

Thank you for the Vaseline suggestion I have used that with running socks and my blisters are still there but much less painful, thanks! 😊

Your blister plasters sweat off? Try the Scholl ones. I can’t get them to budge for at least a week 😆

Aha I know 🤣 I have hyperhydrosis which is basically excessive sweating in my feet so i don't think any will stay on. Probably another reason why I get so many blisters 😑

As one of the other people have said...Hilly socks are wonderful. I am a total convert. Double layer with no seams to rub. Hope it helps your sore feet. 👣

Okay will definitely look into it. My Mum has lended me a couple of pairs of sports socks so i'll try them first 😊
