If you have sport socks then wear a sock over a sock. Maybe wear a good blister plaster when running. Get some Burt's Bees Foot Cream and apply nightly.

Compeed plasters a brilliant if you have blisters.

Just a thought - are your running shoes the right size? Generally need to be at least half a size, and possibly even two sizes larger than your normal size to allow room for your toes to spread/feet to swell a little while running.

Hope you mend soon.

Thank you they are, my toes just overlap a bit. I use toe socks when I did long walks but I hadn’t needed them for running I should have thought about it.

I wear toe socks as I also have overlapping toes and get blisters just walking. But I have not rubbed one in 9 weeks of running 😁

That's good (about the shoes), money saved for other running goods 😀.

Compeed plasters are brilliant. I hate to suggest as it involves money but a lot of my niggles disappeared when I got fitted for proper running shoes. Luckily I bought a pair in the sales but I bought them at an independent sport shop and they were amazingly helpful
