Anyone know the cheapest place to buy blister plasters from? The compeed ones work well for me but they’re expensive if you buy them regularly. I’m only on week 1 so I am hoping the skin on my feet toughens up. I thought my trainers fitted fine but now I am not so sure. I don’t want to invest in a ‘proper’ pair of running shoes just yet though. I want to make sure I am going to keep this up before I pay out. So for now I need blister plasters!

Blisters!

You can get blister proof running socks for cheap from Primark. I’m sure they do them in other places but the ones I have from there are very good.

Hmm I’d get a cheap pair of proper running shoes if your getting blisters already. You’ll only mash your feet up more and make running an even harder . My wife got me a pair of cheap brooks from sports shoes.com and they’re that good I’m still using them !. Pop along to a sports shop get a gait analysis, see what they recommend then go on there and see how much cheaper hey are. I know that’s killing the high st shops but if it’s loads cheaper it’s crazy not to.

It may be cheaper to buy new shoes and much better for your poor feet! Please don't run in trainers that rub. I have dreadful feet and never skimp on footwear.
How would I go about choosing a new pair? My local independent running shop offer a gait analysis for £15 or free if you buy a pair of their running shoes (about £100 a pair). Is this good value?
My local running shop do it for free and no pressure to buy from them. I agree with others if you are getting blisters - plasters isn’t a good long term solution. Do you running shop have any on sale? This might be worth a read: verywellfit.com/how-to-prev...
