Absolutely buzzing! I didn’t feel as good as I did in 7/3 but I’ve only gone and run 5k in 28 mins! How the hell did that happen?

Ha ha! I’ll do my best not to! Today might of been a one off, and I don’t know how accurate Strava is! Not every run is great & this one didn’t feel as good as 7/3! You will definitely feel improvement, week on week! Week 3, I thought there’s no way I can run for 20 mins, let alone 30, but one run on week 4, everything started making sense & you think you’ve cracked it, then the next run can seem a struggle! You’ll have highs & lows! I’m deffo on a high, today! My next run might turn out to be a shambles!.......where’s them batteries? 😂
I think you are fairly fit with the cycling. My issue will be regulating the breathing I think as I alternate between hyperventilating and sounding like a dirty phone call.
Ha ha! Alol maybe a new career? Your breathing will sort it’s self out! I’m not really fit! I just know I like food too much! I’m not ready to go to the juicing room, yet! When’s your next run?
Tomorrow is next run. Just back from a 7k walk with dog today. Thinking of getting a Hannibal mask to stop me snacking however.

That’s fantastic, well done! Don’t think there are too many on this programme that make 5k in 28mins on the first run of Week 8, and that will include me, for sure, so you must be one of the elite! Good thing we’re not all the same, is what I say 😀. If we were running together, at least you’d be so far ahead of me that you could get the drinks in at the finish line 😂

Well done you. I did 3.4k in 28 mins and was quite chuffed with that. I reckon I should make 3.5 next week to finish. That gives me a target of 45 for 5k after consolidation which should keep me going over the summer. Can’t believe I’ll be running/shuffling for 30minutes by the end of next week. One positive from lockdown!
Thank you! Well done to you, too! Lockdown has definitely helped! After having the app on my phone for 7 months & the first week I was furloughed, all I did was walk to the fridge & back! So it was a case of now or never! I’m glad I took the plunge! Running is never going to be easy but it is a great way of escape! It’s the same when I’m on my bike! Just need to sort my diet out, now! I’m always hungry anyway, even more so, now! 🐷
I’ve had the app for about 8 years! Somebody at work mentioned it and I thought it sounded a good idea. But I never had time when I was working, although I’ve been retired now for 4years and never quite got round to it. I’m glad I took the plunge too.
I think a lot of people have taken up the challenge! Can only be a good thing!
