I am. I can still remember week 1 Run 1, to think I didn’t give up there and then. Good luck for next week, not that you will need it. Once I started I knew I wouldn’t let it beat me.
I'd love to say I'm breezing through it all but it still feels really hard. I think it's a mental thing, my head keeps telling me each run is too long but I'm pushing on.
You sound just like me. It’s not easy is it. I watch other runners go past me and they look like gazelles where as I plod along at a snails pace. I’m not a natural runner that’s for sure but I’m going to stick at it though, I love the feeling I get when I’m done. Don’t give up!!!
Wow well done, week 8 seems ages away.....almost Christmas by the time I get there. Well done again 👍🏻
Rest sounds good!!! Although I’m quite pleased I seem to still be able to move my legs. They haven’t stopped working in protest of what I’m making them do, lol.
I know all about protesting legs. I am taking an extra day between my runs at the minute and plenty of stretches and baths to make sure I don't end up on the injury couch again. Good luck with the rest of the week x
Well done you! I have just done Week 8 Run 2 and it was fine. My breathing is a lot better now while I am running but it is my back that starts to hurt around 5-10 minutes. My legs are fine! Maybe it is the way I run? Any way we are doing this, we are now runners!! Good luck with your next two runs xx
Well done Jo-Jo! And Virginia, consider doing some planks to build up core strength - really helps the ole back! (I have a weakness in my lower back and it has helped me).
