I had to really drag my bum outta bed & force on the trainers this morning... But I did it!!! I'm as amazed now as I was after W1R1... I covered 4K so probs still a little slow but taking the expert advice from here & concentrating on running for the length of time & not the distance. Feeling like I've made lots of friends albeit virtual & wishing them all a great next run xx
Week 8 Run 1: I had to really drag my bum outta... - Couch to 5K
Week 8 Run 1
Hey, well done!! I dream of doing 4k. Have a great weekend basking in the warm glow of success xx
Well done JustLisa we're nearly there ! Good Luck with the rest of week 8
Well done. It sounds as if you're doing really well!
Well done!!!!, I was due to do this one on Thursday but have not as yet. My back and knee have been a bit sore so was having a few extra rest days. Only 5 more runs for you!!!!!!
Well done on the first run of W8. You are on countdown now to graduation - only 5 runs left. Wisely, you are not worrying about speed and distance - this can come later as your focus now must be on graduation and you don't want to put that, or yourself, at risk now. Good luck with the next run and my very best wishes.
Hi JustLisa! You and I are on the same schedule, remember? I did my W8R1 today too. Mine is along the beach in California where I live. It was beautiful today and I was pleased that I completed the run. My new running outfit helped I'm sure. I haven't figured out how far I actually run, but I don't think I'm breaking any records!
JustLisa, it is amazing, isn't it. I look forward to my runs, I enjoy them, and I love how I feel afterwards. I don't have the extreme stories some folk do on here as I've always been reasonably active, but I never imagined I'd enjoy running like this let alone make it to 28 mins!
