Phew another run ticked off! As usual very slowly!
I took 3 rest days this time as just didn't have much energy this week.
I did find it frustrating when Laura came on to tell me I had completed 10 minutes as I was hoping she was going to tell me I was halfway so that was hard.
Any one else also feel a bit deflated when she suggests you might want to go at a faster pace? I can't go any faster and am just hanging in there lol!
Pleased I did it though however slowly!

I know exactly what you mean Supermouse, you’re really chuffed you’re doing so well and then it’s almost implied that you’re not quite doing well enough. I think OldFloss is totally right, ignore it. I overdid it because I went a bit too fast.
Well done! It does take it out of you this stage doesn’t it. 👍👍👍🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Very well done, im only at end of week 5 and it’s starting to feel seriously much harder, I might chuck Sarah into the ditch if she suggest I up the pace so very well done for going at your pace
Yes that was me yesterday on my hilly run, I could barely maintain the slowest jog and then Jo (yes she's just as bad!) suggested I might want to go faster!! Yeah right Jo! Funny! I remember reading on here that someone let loose with some choice language when they heard that suggestion!! 😁
Really well done, not long to go. I hate when Jo says if you can speed up for the last 5 or sprint for the last minute. SPRINT I can just about maintain my current pace which is super slow. Honestly people could brisk walk faster than I run.😂
Congratulations! Brilliant achievement on running 28 minutes, and you shouldn’t worry one jot about your pace. Join me in embracing your inner snail! 🐌 🐌🐌 I’m starting W8 on Monday.
Thanks cheekychipmunks but sadly since completing the Couch to 5K i've managed to tear my cruciate ligament so am unable to run now. Hope to in the future I might again but depends on if safe to do so and if I need surgery. I was just unlucky. Keep on with your running (I am very jealous)
Hi again cheekychipmunks ha no probs lol Yeah it was caused during a run, actually during a Race for Life. I over did things, felt ok and finished, but later that same night it all went a bit pear shaped! Yes, I really hope I will run again, thanks!
I run with Jo and actually went a bit slower for this one to make sure I didn't run out of steam then speeded up for the last minute. Amazing how the same run can take different amounts of effort. The main thing is that you did it. Well done!
