Week 7, Run 1

I struggled with the 25min run last week and was pretty apprehensive going into this week - In fact i had decided to postpone the run today, as it was so warm and sunny, but there came a point this afternoon where i felt motivated and decided to get myself out of the front door.

The run went really well. I concentrated on a sloow and even pace, listened to some great music and tried not to be distracted by others walking and running in the same fields. To my surprise i was not very breathless at the halfway point which has always been my nemesis, so was encouraged to continue at the same slow pace.

I wouldn't say i enjoyed it but am pleased to have got the first of this weeks run's under my belt. I am now going to enjoy a day off and NOT look forward to Wednesday's run!

You are right, the end is in sight now isnt it. If we can run 25mins, then surly we can do 28mins, and if we can run 28mins, then we CAN run 30 mins!

Hi BigDorris, awesome! Keep going! The weather is amazing for going out and running! I also completed W7R1 today after feeling worn out at the weekend (found it difficult and had to reduce the pace in the last 5 mins).
