I bloody did it now I knew I could do it on a flat no hills cycle path but I decided to challenge myself to run on my doorstep where I am surrounded by slight inclines and hills and I bloody did it and with a quicker pace than on flat????

I was so proud I was going to post on Facebook but think all my friends are sick of hearing about my running journey 🤭

Seems like there's no place like home! Well done today!

Great job. If you’re happy in your surroundings everything improves a little, and of course you’re that bit fitter each run. Those hills build stamina and speed too.

Yes you can feel the hills having an effect in your upper legs, can't you.

Yup... it’s hard work and those muscles moan a bit louder, but we now know that this is a good thing.
