Whoop whoop!!
Just back from final run of week one and feel fantastic.
Yeah I know it isn’t the London Marathon but who knows, maybe one day it will be...... (not!) 🤣
I tried the couch to 5k a couple of years ago and gave up almost immediately because I felt so unfit, too slow, useless, pathetic etc.
This time I found this forum and know that these emotions are normal and not just me. So that makes me even more determined having read so many inspirational stories on here.
Anyway, just want to say thank you to each and every one of you for being in my life and for the support and advice.
Sounding pathetic I know , but as someone who has diabetes, anxiety and who is nursing a palliative parent I find joy in the smallest success.
Huge hugs to all........ from a distance of course. 😀
