Another dry run! 🍀 Back in the lucky 🧦! I ran alongside my daughter today, her first 25 min run, she smashed it! 💪. I slowed my pace down, compared to 7/1 which led to a more enjoyable run. I settled into a good rhythm for the whole run & felt like there was plenty left in the tank at the end!
I did a big bike ride, yesterday & thought it might affect my run today, but my legs felt better than they did after 7/1.
Well done to you and your daughter on completing run 2 of week 7 the bike ride yesterday may have helped you, not long now until you graduate, onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 7 🏃🏾 😊
Well done to both of you! The lucky 🧦 might have helped, but it’s definitely you two putting in the effort that’s got you both to where you are now. The sun is shining and you’re out there running, got to be a recipe for a good day 😀🏃♂️🏃♀️☀️
Best I can say is it’s added more kms to my running journey. As we’ve said before, not all runs are good ones, but they all count in building up stamina and experience.
Well done for completing the run! Mine felt much more relaxed than the last! We have to be proud of where we are now from Week 1. Let’s smash Sunday’s run! 💪
You’re right! The only reason to look back is in amazement at what we’ve achieved so far. Glad you’ve rediscovered your rhythm and sustainable pace. For me, I’ll make sure Sunday’s run is focused and, probably, a bit slower so it consolidates everything I’ve done so far. I really appreciate your encouragement - we've got this!
