Well just finished w7r2 and felt really good, was in a good rhythm so decided to run for 32mins until I got to my destination. Managed to run 4.3km😀. Feel confident now that 5k is really achievable. Going to for the 5k on Saturday if I feel as good as today.

Getting closer to the magical 5k
Well done, but please stick to the plan.
We are all capable of doing way more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increasing our injury risk. Sticking to gently progressive training plans is the safest way to push our limits, whilst gently increasing our resistance to injury.
Take care.......injured runners don't run at all.
Please be careful. I pushed a little bit and was laid up for almost three months as a result. I'm not saying it's "for sure" you will hurt yourself, but honestly it's a gamble and the years of experience and feedback here on the Forum says it's a very risky gamble. For the sake of an extra twenty minutes and a finish line, I lost out on some of the best running weather of that year and couldn't run in the event I'd trained for when it came around.
