I can’t believe what this programme has done for my mental health, self esteem, confidence & of course fitness.
Having a total hip replacement a couple of years ago at aged 45 was the most frightening time of my life. I couldn’t even walk upstairs or around the house, my mobility was so compromised. I’d gone from leading a fit healthy active lifestyle to a pain filled existence within the 4 walls of my house.
Never in a million years did I think I would be able to walk 5k again let alone run it!
And now ...
I am 2 runs away from Graduation and plan on doing my first park run on March 2nd.

Fantastic, well done! An achievement to be mega proud of. I agree entirely, it's a fantastic programme. I just graduated tonight with my final run of W9 and never thought that would be possible a few months ago.
Wow what an awe inspiring achievement! It really is amazing how this works. And the results to general health and mental wellbeing are astonishing. I’m losing weight & many many inches, getting toned etc, but one of the main things I notice is that that self critical voice that used to nag at me is gone!
What’s so great about achieving such results in such a relatively short period of time is that everything is so noticeable and that really encourages me to stick at it - I know how good it is for me. I’m hooked!
Good luck with your next two runs and then on with this wonderful journey x
What a inspiring post from you littlemac24, what you have been through in recent years you deserve to graduate later this week. I wish you all the very best for your graduation run 🏃 😊.
Well done what a great achievement 👏👏👏 not long now before your first park run hope you enjoy it. Good luck with your last 2 runs for graduation hope it all goes well. 😊🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
