So up until last week I had been getting out for a run every other day and had maintained that for just over 3 weeks getting me to Week 4 in the program (proud moment!) I then developed a blister due to my new trainers and took time for it to heal. My last run was on Sunday but I’ve had very little sleep the past two nights so am listening to my body and having another days rest. Anyone else?

Listening to my body
Ouch... ! Give it time... and yes, listening to our body is absolutely always the best guide. Our voice that does not use words
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
My wife and I are both definitely listening to our bodies. After the first ever 20min run at end of week 5, I tried pushing myself again in week 6 (for the run/walk/run) and my legs felt like they were buckling beneath me. I had a 3 day rest before the last run of week 6, a 25min run, and it felt like the best run I’ve had yet! (In week 1 I couldn’t even do 30secs without gasping for breath).
I’ll always be listening to my body from now on
Good for you! Yup I took a break after week 2 then redid week 2's runs. I hope you can find different trainers or socks so you won't blister.
Take care and enjoy running when you're back up...
