Hello everyone...

Just finished week 7. Feeling good and wanting to continue. My son is enjoying it also and we’ve been talking about park run when they are back. I tracked our run section only for the first time yesterday and we are managing about 3.5km in 25 mins. Im pleased with this as I am having to jog on the spot occasionally to let his little legs catch up (crossing a road etc). I don’t think we will be far off 4km at 30 mins which feels good. I posted last week about running shoes and have ordered us each a few pairs which will arrive next in another week (delayed orders due to corona).

Anyway.... my concern is that my left foot is still painful. It started after a run 2 weeks ago, it is on the inner side around the ankle area. I’ve been looking online and because the pain is mild I’ve continued to do the runs as I don’t want to lose all the progress we’ve made. The shoes I’ve ordered are supportive (after I did a wet foot test) so am hoping this will help. Is there any other exercises or anything else i can do? Has anyone had anything similar that’s corrected itself as you’ve got stronger ?

Thank you

Cycling works the joint and improves strength without loading too heavily and as Tasha99 says hop over to the Strength and Flex forum.
