Have just completed Run2 of week6, harder than expected but pleased completed after yesterday’s social distancing VE Day celebrations. More apprehensive about the next few, 25 mins no stopping. Any tips appreciated

Just approach the next runs as you have the previous runs, try not to overthink it, remember, when it starts feeling so tough always back off the pace.

Well done on where you have got to already..

Thanks buddy, never thought I could do the 20 minutes a few weeks ago but by the. day of that run was confident would do it. Strong will power so might struggle with 25 mins but will do it

Nice one... see you later intervals! You can do 25, and repeat it... you’re ready. Slow and steady, especially at the start, while the runs stay the same for 4 runs, the weekly load on your legs is still going to be creeping up with each run, so just keep any inclination to go a little faster during any of them in check.

Thank you, would have been tempted to try to speed up but will follow the advice

You can always get that out of your system when you know each is in the bag with a little extra pace... that’s how I dealt with it, I think by the last of them I upped the pace for the last 5 minutes, on the first one I held right back, second one I think I managed 10 seconds of speed 🤣

Congrats! You can definitely do all the 25+ mins runs, I think the challenge from Week 6 Run 3 is keeping yourself entertained while you're doing them. Maybe listen to a podcast, or take a new route for a change of scene.
