The end of walking breaks has arrived

That's it w6r2 complete and the end of walking breaks. Not a bad thing in my book as this week seems to have been really difficult with those breaks. Maybe I'll change my mind after run 3 is done! Feeling good though knowing that only 5 weeks ago I struggled to run for 1 minute and now I'm ready to do 25! AMAZING! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Well done on your progress. I am convinced that W6 runs 1 & 2 were put in just to get us to dislike intervals. Bring on the long runs, much better.

I'm hoping so kept telling myself it can only get easier from here. Just when you get a good rhythm going and feeling like you can go for ages your told to slow down and walk.

Let's hope so! I keep remembering the feeling I had after 20 min run. Hope I feel as good after 25 mins. Will find out on Saturday!

Thank you. Just read it. Think it helps! Will let you know Saturday after my run. I won't be defeated! Like you I think the last 6 mins will get the hardest as they were in week 5 but I know I can and I will. πŸ‘

Well Done you - I tackle r3 tomorrow - 25 minutes continuous - feels a massive leap - but like you feel like the running is in my legs - so now just got to prove it to myself - good luck

There is hope for me yet! Just done W1 and struggling the 60s. Good to see others later in the weeks had similar issues.

Yes keep at it it does get a bit easier just longer but well worth it for the feeling of completing something that really challenges you in many different ways.

It's fab getting to this point isn't it? When you do the first uninterrupted run, it felt like I had crossed the point of no return in a good way! Enjoy the longer distances.
