I’ve been awake since about 4am, I am so tired and have got to do the run this morning. It’s going to be a hard one I think cos of how knackered I am, it’s probably not even worth doing it this morning but I’m gonna try. It’s strange as I’m always excited on rese day for the next run and can’t wait to get out there but once it arrives I dread it 😂 Wish me luck 💪🏻🏃‍♀️🌈

You have made great progress getting to this point but if you read your post it really is very negative and that is not going to help you overcome the challenge...........you have already made your excuse for not completing it.

Have a read of this post about mental approach healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

We make our own luck by preparing as well as possible and also by accepting that if conditions are not perfect, then we will go and see what we can manage and learn from the experience.

Relax and enjoy this plan, don't dread it.

It wasn’t meant as negative, I guess that’s how it was interpreted. It was intended as a message seeking encouragement. We all have days of dread, that’s human nature and we should all know it’s ok to voice that, it’s relatable to everyone. Onwards and upwards 🏃‍♀️

I am not being critical and of course it is fine to express your negative feelings, but I was trying to point out that there is another way which is much more likely to lead to success.

My reply was also intended to be encouraging............but we all interpret language depending on our viewpoint.

I've run every second day since the start of the programme... some days I've been slightly hungover (oops), sore, grumpy...but I know I have to get out there... for me and me causes. I always feel better for doing it. I always look forward to run days and am sad when it isn't one but remember why you are doing this. You can do it!!
