Go for it and just start! It’s easy to follow and takes baby steps to start with I haven’t run since school I am overweight and I will be 57 in September and I’ve just finished week 4!!! Best of luck

Hello! 👋🏼 Just go for it. The programme is brilliant and really works. I started in the dark as I was so embarrassed but no-one notices runners, as you’ll realise. I’m 54 and hadn’t run since I was 23. There’s lots of help and advice on here so let us all know how you get on. Oh, and be warned... running is addictive 😊

Hello and welcome! You’ve already made a good start. No one on here will judge you, we’re all struggling along. It feels like 9 weeks isn’t anywhere near long enough to get you up to running for 3ish miles, but stick to the plan and you’ll get there. Any wibbly wobbles, throw your problems onto this forum and you’ll get so much advice and support you’ll be ready to go right back out again. Don’t look too far ahead on the app, it looks a bit daunting but thousands have done it, you will be one of them. It’s addictive. Good luck. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Download your favourite tracks to run to and make a start you will love it 😊 I’m 58 & overweight and couldn’t run for 30 seconds never mind 30 mins, I started 9 weeks ago and I graduated on Friday 😊

You will love it, Maria! It’s a fabulous programme which works on building endurance rather than focusing on speed, so if ever you feel like you’re struggling, simply slow your pace!

I’ve never done any real running before this, and I’m starting on W5 tomorrow. Each week you get stronger, and I find myself wondering how I found the previous week hard!

Drink tons and go slooow and you’ll be fine! Good luck! 😀🏃‍♀️

You will be astounded at how good this program is I have never run b4 am a 55 years old grandma and near graduating I am still amazed at the fact in 9 weeks you can go from struggling to run 60 secs to running for 30 mins 😀
