After completing the Stamina podcast this morning I realised my shins were aching long after my warm down walk. They were still aching after I got to work so I mentioned it to a seasoned runner colleague.
She suggested compression socks and perhaps look at changing trainers. Well I turned my trainers over when I got home and realised they were quite worn. I then looked at my Nike app and saw they had served me for well over 500 kms. I only used them for running so that is a lot of tarmac.
A trip to the running shop and I am now the proud owner of some posh trainers.
Decided to leave 2 days before I run again but I am looking forward to running in pink.

Oooh nice shoes!!!!! I have listened to a couple of the stepping stone podcasts in readiness for after graduation and I don't mind admitting I'm a little scared of them!
Lovely shoes! Hope your shins appreciate the lovely new treat
I'm waiting for my new shoes to be delivered, they are mostly purple too, but not so purple as yours! I'f I'd seen those I'd have bought them even if they made my toes drop off! They are gorgeous!
Oh them's lovely shoes Moonmar!!!! They are a lush colour. You need purple pants now too. Purple makes you run faster! The Stepping Stones podcasts are the bees knees! I run them all the time, love em.
