Just after advice please. I started C25K on Saturday and did my second run on Monday, I aim to do my 3rd run this afternoon (Wednesday) but then realistically don’t need to start W2 until Saturday. How does everyone else do it? When is the best time to leave the 2 clear day gap? Many thanks 😊

I personally run every other day I wouldn't leave too long in between runs as it may feel like your starting from the beginning

Congratulations on starting C25K with runs 1, 2 and 3 and completing week 1, you can choose any three days a week for your runs, you have chosen Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, that is perfectly OK, it gives you two days off before the next week, try if possible to keep to the same days that you run,

on non running days if you wish do other exercises such as cycling, yoga or going a good walk, never run on consecutive days, that is the number one rule of C25K, onwards and upwards on Saturday to week two.

I've been going every other day. I find it good to keep up momentum, I'm on week 5 now and always can't wait for my next run, have to stop myself going every day lol..... I just think do what suits you.... Enjoy 😊

Yes definitely do what suits you! I was running every other day and then I hit a point where I just felt I needed more of a break and started doing what Al suggested. Just listen to your body.

Well done btw - getting through the first week is a great achievement!!!

I am in W4 R2 and I often leave two days rest (never more), which my legs really need it. But my runs feel really good with this routine. From the forum I can see that the only set rules are: have at least 1 day in-between and do not leave it too long between runs. More than 2 weeks pause, start again.

As the guide to the plan states, C25k weeks don't have to coincide with calendar weeks.
