Hello all!

I have read lots about how it’s more to do with running for a certain length of time rather than the distance so don’t worry about that 🙂 sounds like you’re doing great I’ve just got over 3.6 k in 30 mins but everyone different xx
Ah OK! You're doing great, thanks for the reply, I didn't feel like I was going to die! But I didn't feel I could run any faster which worried me a bit 🙈
Oh I know exactly how you feel 😂 I was the same but I’m now just building on my speed slowly as it feels great to have a steady pace which you can build on a wee bit at a time. xx
The beauty about the programme is that you run at your own pace. I have done this programme a number of times and I couldn’t do 5K at the final week but I was running to time.
I have never progressed from 5K and I am happy with that.
You are doing really well. So keep at it. Good luck and happy running 🏃♀️
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
C25k is purely duration based, so the distance you cover is irrelevant.
Enjoy your journey.
