W7R1 went better

For some reason I really didn’t enjoy week 6 after a great W5R3 run. But today’s first run of week 7 went much better. Thanks to Shar71 for the encouragement 😀

I changed my route, used a podcast instead of music and got into a better slow but steady pace. Saw others running faster but thought this is about my endurance not speed. Went round the corner and the faster runners had stopped to catch their breath so I ran past them. Hare and the tortoise 😂.

I guess it is all about building that endurance now.

So went from thinking of 100 reasons not to go out to feeling very happy now !!!

Yay that's brilliant! Tortoises rock - them and snails are my running mascots at the moment - if there were such a thing... :) Not long to go now - keep at it.
