W6 R1 fell over :(

I was so nervous for today and i tripped and had quite a nasty fall about 5 mins in, which just took it all out of me and made me feel really embarrassed 😞 I still completed the run but just didn’t feel good about it, and now i don’t feel confident for the upcoming runs either. Maybe i don’t pick my feet up enough, do i need to be bouncing more maybe?

Oh no - what a shame! Don't let it eat at your confidence - maybe it was just a bump in the road/path that you didn't notice or someting like that? Great that you finished the run regardless though so just get back out there after your rest day and try not to let it mess with your head. You go girl!!!!

I know how you felt lucy97. If it's the first time you have fell/tripped probably nothing to do with your running, just unfortunate. I did the same last week, hole in leggings and badly grazed knee , so embarrassed and annoyed but I carried on to finish the run like you. Had a week off due to really sore knee. You will be fine on next run, you carried on after your fall. Be confident and determined, well done you have got this far! Good luck 😊

Me too. Felt the hard pavement and limped home! But I did get back out again and just kept slow steady pace. London running isn’t easy 😂. Give yourself a good rest and you’ll be fine!

Oh I’m so sorry to hear that. You did so well to get back up and finish the run though so give yourself a massive pat on the back! I’m sure it was just an uneven path and maybe you didn’t spot it because you were feeling nervous before you started.

You’re doing so well to have got this far don’t let it put you off I’m sure you’ll be fine on your next run. Good luck!

Well done for carrying on, your confidence will be knocked for sure. Hope you feel lots better if the next one x (ps I once fell flat on my face as I ran along in front of Morrison’s, you know, where all the checkouts are lined up facing the windows...) 🤦‍♀️ x
