For week 5 I’ve had to change my route as my normal foot path just isn’t cutting it anymore for two reasons. a) it’s getting overgrown and increasing hard to avoid other people, and b) with the increased running it’s just too short! My new route is either walking to or dropped off at local park and just doing laps of the field - it’s a smoother path and easier to avoid people, plus I like that I know that one lap is roughly five minutes!
Am now finding I enjoy running a bit more and much prefer doing less longer runs, rather than lots of short runs. (Week one’s 8 runs/walks seemed never ending!)
Feeling like a proper runner now! 😌
