Don’t dread it, you’ll get such a good feeling from completing each week as your fitness gradually builds up. It’s like magic!

You do know that this plan is designed to get you running for thirty minutes?

In which case you are going to have to increase each week.

Presumably you want to run for thirty minutes, so why would you dread it?

This post may help you put it into perspective. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Thankyou, yeah I know it was just quite hard work tonight, and was wondering how on earth I will do the next step. Guess I can always repeat weeks if need be

3 in the bag already! Well done. Nothing to fear in any week as the plan has you prepared. Look forward to them all. It's half the battle.

Thankyou, I’m sure I will enjoy it once I start week 2. Just quite hard work tonight and wondering how I will do the next step

Nice and steady. Comfy conversational pace and as the weeks go, your pace will up naturally and your stamina too. Lots of water during every day too.

Thanks. Yeah really struggling with my stamina, which makes me wonder if i will achieve the next level. Will just take it steady and can always repeat weeks

Definitely. The good thing is that lots of us have been where you are now. Soon you'll look back and see how far you have come. Keep posting. We're all here to encourage you. Anna from 'The Running Channel' on YouTube is really motivating if you watch her race vlogs.

Well done though for giving this a go and getting out of your comfort zone. 🏆

Thankyou, I will have a look at that. Yes this is completely out my comfort zone, as haven’t run for around 8 years. It’s certainly challenging, but have no intention on giving up

I know where you're coming from. When I first went through C25K, there was always a little apprehension at the thought of a new week, just because I was so unfit and I'd never run before. But every week I just went for it, running (ok, shuffling lol) really slowly but I managed all the runs even though some were really tough. So my advice would be to trust the programme and believe in yourself - every week you're a bit fitter and stronger than the week before! And like you said, if you have to repeat any of the runs, it's not the end of the world, just a chance to enjoy C25K for a bit longer 😉

Good luck with week 2, I'm sure you'll smash it 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Thankyou. That’s true, I think it’s just the thought of it and found some of the minute runs bad enough, so I’m thinking how am I going to run any longer! Lol. I’m so unfit 🤦‍♀️🤣There’s not so many runs in week two though so that’s something! Goo luck with your running 👍🏻
