I'm very pleased to say I ran the whole duration and even had a little left in the tank for a sprint in the last 10 seconds (when I say sprint, It was more like an uncoordinated stumble)
Just wanted to say thanks for all the replies to my previous post and absolutely the mistake I made last time out was going too fast at the start.
Funny enough, I must have had problems with my wireless headphones on my previous attempt as this time I had lots of helpful advice from the legend Michael Johnson that last time I didn't hear!!
One excellent piece of advice specifically telling me that if I was running parallel to someone next to a fence with only our heads showing, it should be impossible to tell if the other person was running or walking. The point being if your head is bobbling about too much you're simply wasting energy. What a great bit of advice that I definitely didn't hear before.
Again, thanks to everyone for their kind words and advice on my last post and now looking forward to W3 R2

Well done. I did W3 R3 today and managed it. The second 3mins was actually easier than the first. I don’t think I could run any slower and still move. I’m also listening to Michael Johnson and thought his tip about the hedge was excellent too. I’m dreading W4 on Friday but hey ho, I didn’t think I’d manage week one!! I’m hoping the good weather continues as I don’t think I’ll be a wet weather runner. Good luck for the rest of week 3.
