After months of lurking on this forum reading wonderful advice and inspiring posts, I’d promised myself my first post would be one of celebration and gratitude on completing this run.
This isn’t my first time trying to complete C25K - previously I’ve ended up on the injury couch at around week 5. But third time’s a charm and here I am ... running 30 minutes and addicted 🎉
And yes, I do feel proud and yes, I am hugely grateful to all you lovely people whose posts and responses have motivated and guided me through the programme. But mostly I’m just sad ... I hadn’t realised what a lifeline the challenge of evolving through the programme has been in getting me through the past six weeks of lockdown here in Greece. Bitter sweet for sure!
Mostly, sweet though ... because the sun is shining and I know it’s only two days until I can put my trainers back on and get out there for my first consolidation run! ☀️
Thanks again - it’s been said before, but this programme is truly life-changing!
