This is my first post, although this morning at 4:48 am I started and then successfully completed my final run in the C25K programme. I was determined to run the full 5k this week regardless of time and I achieved this in my last two runs, my quickest time being 38mins 25 seconds. I am 63 years old and so I believe this is quicker than the average for a man of my age. All that is not really relevant though. Homer Simpson once said if something is hard to do - it is not worth doing! That is the mindset of a lot of people these days - but certainly not that of all those runners of all shapes, sizes and ages on this forum who are out there determined to battle their way through the programme no matter what. I applaud you all and thank you for your numerous posts which have encouraged, inspired and entertained me over the past view weeks. Thank you to the Administrators for their specialist advice and guidance and to one of the greatest track athletes of all time, the legendary Michael Johnson for his no nonsense encouragement on each and every run!
Sorry for such a long post and good luck to everybody in the future. Stay healthy!
