Using the podcast with music.

I download the podcast it as it has music already and an automatically synchronised run commentary. So far so good.

Now, after completing the run, how does one tick off the run completed button in the C25K App? Only solution I can see after the run is done, is to manually advance the run segments to completion and save it. Is there a better way ?

I have one day incorrect as I forgot to save it. Can this be altered to reflect the correct day ?

Yep just replay the run and save it again 👍

Ok so that’s good news. Thanks for responding.

I forgot to complete the run in the app on Friday when the podcast ended.

Is it possible to edit the history in C25K app which now incorrectly shows Saturday as run day?

I'm pretty sure you can, i swapped phones after completing c25k, so had to rerun all the stages again just to keep a record

Hi what a good idea a pod cast or maybe even audio book. As I dont have any music on my phone!

I just let it play to.the end click the smile face Icon and it ticks I've completed the run!

Hi, yes it simplifies things if no music in the phone. You do have to go back to the phone app though to manually complete the run. Just tap the > repeatedly to complete and save it.

Have fun and well done.

The podcast is the old school way of delivering the programme and there is no integration with the more recent app.

Well, all I can say is that I have the same prompt coach and the timings are the same as the relevant run I’m on. It’s still current. Maybe old school but nothing else gives the music so simply timed to the run. Happy days.

The app permits you to play your own choice of music, or spoken podcasts or whatever floats your boat.

That’s fine Ionadda if you have music in your phone. Some folks don’t. The NHS podcast gives the commentary with the ‘coach’ voice and some tunes to fill in the time. Either way is good, just nice to have an alternative. Have a great day and thanks for looking after us all 👍🏼.

Thank you 🙏

Just back, W2R3 completed.

Found it quite hard for some reason. Hydrated etc so must work on my ‘Spring’

Anyway, rest day tomorrow ready for W3 on Thursday.
