Week 6 Run 1 back on track ๐Ÿ˜Š

Well after hating run 3 of week 5 and not getting the feeling of achievement I was hoping for it was with a little trepidation that I set out for the first run of week 6 tonight. I decided to run as slowly as I possibly could ( as per the advice on here) and I found the run pretty easy! So I think maybe I just went a bit quick last week without realising it, bit overexcited maybe ๐Ÿค” so Iโ€™m hoping Iโ€™ll get that real sense of achievement after the third run of this week instead ๐Ÿคž

Definitely slow is the way to go... but for me thatโ€™s harder than it sounds ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Good luck Iโ€™m looking forward to hearing how you find it

Well done, you're well on the way now. Yes, I think that at this stage in the programme there can be a tendency to speed up without realising it. I'm sure you've found a comfortable pace now so that's great.

Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š I just need to keep reminding myself that when I think Iโ€™m going slow to go slower ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Well done and Iโ€™m glad you enjoyed it ๐Ÿ˜„

Youโ€™re right it is windy out there, wasnโ€™t expecting that!

Oh no I donโ€™t want to do that run again, onward and upward I say! Iโ€™m just going to go as slow as I possibly can and hope I get the buzz after the third run of this week ๐Ÿ˜Š

Well done, I did mine yesterday too. It was windy and I felt a bit bloated and looking at 25min run at the end of the week ๐Ÿฅบ

I know!! They say run 3 of week 5 is milestone but this is equally so I think!

Iโ€™ve completed W6R1 a couple of days ago and was the opposite to you. W5R3 went pretty easy for me at a decent pace but W6R1 very nearly broke me. The important thing is getting through it, and I did but I felt awful. Still, out of all the runs so far thatโ€™s only two that I have felt that rubbish on so itโ€™s not worth dwelling on the negatives. W6R2 tonight so bring it on!!! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

We all have off days so like you say it isnโ€™t worth dwelling on it. Good luck for tonight!
