Nice and Easy Does It

This was my longer, slower run of the week. You have to appreciate that these are relative terms. But they are relative to me.

I ran for 58 minutes, excluding warm up walk. I am not tracking time or pace as I know that won't work for me and I may stop running if I go down that route. So at the moment I am varying my runs between shorter/faster and longer/slower.

What did please me about this today's run was my breathing. It felt good the whole way round, my pace seemed even throughout and I felt there was plenty left in the tank when I finished.

I enjoyed running in the light rain and spotting the bluebells and other wild flowers on the verges as I ran along.

Happy runnings.

This sounds really positive! Feeling in control like that is really important and to run for that long tells you that you're doing the right thing.

Not what you're looking for?
