This morning I completed my final run on this amazing programme. I can’t believe how far I’ve come ...
I started this in January after embarking on an ‘improve my overall health’ campaign in August last year. I had a lot of personal battles to overcome; 6+ stone overweight, high blood pressure, fatty liver symptoms and mostly limiting my life through being so unfit.
So I’ve lost some weight and some cm but gained so much self belief from days when I could barely get through 60 seconds of this programme to making it through 30 minutes.
Ok I’m not the fastest ... STRAVA confirms 3K distance 🐌 but hey that’s 3 more than I could do in January. Looking forward to reaching that 5K goal this year 🏃♀️
Thank you, yes lipstick for the final run (standards lol) and luckily the angle of the sun doesn’t show my beetroot face and the very wet hair at the back 😂
Well done....I have just started last week and I'm on week 2 This Sunday...it opens your eyes big time.but yet rewarding when you get that voice in your ear pushing you on with encouragement
Thank you. Keep going, it’s great 👍
A great inspiration to all like me, just starting out on our journey to 5k! Well done!

Thank you and good luck with your own journey and stay connected with the forum 😊
Thank you .... just consolidating now and keeping it going. Aim is to get to 5K and maybe a ParkFit later.
Well, fair play missus, you look great! A year ago I was a size 20 after 18 months of plantar facilitus, then a broken ankle from trying to dance in platform shoes on my 60th birthday party... now nearly a size 16, i started in February, and to be honest feel bloody great! No longer get back ache, or foot ache, feel more.... flexible if that's the word? Will keep to the 30 min run, see how I feel.... keep in touch!

Thank you and I’m feeling good. I’ve gone from a 20/22 to 18 which is sooo good. Just been celebrating a little too much since I graduated 😉 Back to the running on Monday! 58 in June and will avoid the platform shoes ... 😂
You look fab; you have that elusive post-run glow!! Congrats on completing the programme and getting to a better place with it. We look forward to the 5k follow up! :))
