Week 7 Run 1 - above and beyond!

I was looking forward to this run and doing a new route having surprised myself with 25 minutes non-stop running at the end of week 6.

I decided to jump on the 5k £5 for NHS bandwagon and pushed myself a little further than the program and completed just over 5k in 30 minutes 11 seconds 😊

To say I’m thrilled is an understatement and I was totally inspired by Captain Tom who was on the news this morning.

Now I know I can do it I’m looking forward to completing the program and continuing running as a healthy habit!

Well done but please stick to the plan if you do not want to unnecessarily increase your risk of injury that could stop you running for days, weeks or even months.

Take care.
