Hey runners!! 👋
I have only gone and done it! I don’t know but I was really scared today. I really thought the bubble might burst after all the elation of W5! So, I went out there reminding myself, I’m running to my destiny! It will be fine! Not sure I was believing it that much, but hey, a self-pep talk doesn’t hurt!
I don’t really look at the details about the run, so when MJ said the first run was just 5 mins, I was shocked! Hello? 👋 “I can run for 5 minutes”. Then the next when he said 8! Hello, 👋 “I’m on it MJ, we’ve got this!”, though you don’t sound like you’re too out breath here! 🤨 By the time the final run came, I knew I could do it.
I didn’t choose the best time to go out! No hungry looking dogs this time, but lots of school kids and commuters. But I didn’t want to give myself any excuses in case I kept putting it off all day, so I went out there. I ran past the high school at it’s busiest time and thought it could get messy with these youngsters, as I run slower than they walk, but the cherubs just averted their eyes and if there were any sniggers, my headphones were securely in place! I so wish I ran when I was their age! It seemed like it was waaaay too much effort! A waste of time! 🙄 That’s youth for you! Now, it seems like the best time ever! So maybe it all just works out how it should in the end! 2 more to go in W6 now!! (Had to edit to add W6 🤣)🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️😁😁❤️
