Hi all Happy Easter 🐣 Just tried to run w8R1 woke up at 5.30am I thought let’s do this as I didn’t have any energy yesterday and suffering with a bad tooth and abscess just wasn’t motivated, so waking up early this morning I thought I would go for it, had a glass of water nothing to eat as had a large dinner last night 🤭was doing ok until Sarah said half way I just started to flack I managed to push myself but only managed a total of 23 mins jogging time I was close to throwing up 🤮 so had to give up and walk , gutted gonna repeat on Monday hopefully won’t be in so much pain with my toothache and the antibiotics have done the job 🤞

You ran for 23 minutes & aren’t happy, why? Look at how far you’ve come since the start of this journey when running for 60 seconds seemed too much!! Plus you have a nasty abscess to boot!! You still got out there & ran this morning. You’ve got this Footsy, next time you’ll smash it 👍🏻

😊 Thank you I’m just a bit disappointed with myself as built up to running 25 mins but just couldn’t manage it today, I am now curled up reading x

I admire you for running for 23 minutes with an abscess!! I'm not from a medical background, but would suggest that you take some time to rest up over the weekend, have some painkillers and only run once those antibiotics are beginning to work on the infection that you have in your system. Take care of yourself and good luck with your final couple of weeks!

Happy Easter to you Footsy, not such a good run for you, however, have a few days off running and run, run 1 of week 8 again, perhaps a little slower than you did today, talking about teeth, I have had a loose tooth for a few months now, it wasn't really sore but it would not come out when I tried to take it out, so obviously I didn't want to force it out, but low and behold, it came out this morning naturally when I was having breakfast, just a little blood which soon cleared up, once again, have a nice Easter Weekend.

Sounds like you need to rest your body so that it can heal and recover. Take care and happy Easter 🐣

Oooh a tooth abscess is sooo painful, I’m not surprised you struggled with your run! I think you are amazing for going out and managing what you did! Give yourself a break and time to heal and I’m sure you’ll smash it when you try again. Hope your son feeling better
