Wow final week - I can’t believe it! Thing is, my stamina doesn’t feel much stronger than week 7. Since that week I’ve had to slow my pace because the runs have lengthened. I feel I’ve hit a plateau although I’ll be graduating. I also don’t know how I’m going to enjoy the runs after the 9 week challenge is actually over - when I don’t have Michael Johnson with me anymore 😂

Good for you - nearly there. 👍 Half an hour is a really good length of run. Just enjoy reaching your goal and don’t worry about speed. I found it useful to spend quite some time doing half hour runs, building up steady stamina after the progressive push to get to 30 minutes. It’s a big change for the body! You can always replay W9 if you need the soothing/encouraging voice. 😊 When you finish, one of the lovely Admins will also send you some suggestions. Happy running. 😄👍
Have you upped your strength and stamina work on some of your rest days.... as the runs get longer, the rest for your body really needs to keep up with the legs...
There are loads of great ideas on the strength and flex forum to help with this
Thanks for your post - I've been feeling a bit the the same. So I'll be taking the advice on board too. Good luck with the final runs and see you over the other side on Consolidation Club!!
If you want to carry on progressing after consolidating on Week 9, add another 2 minutes in Week 10, 3 minutes in Week 11, 2 minutes then 3 minutes, etc
Once you get up to 45 minutes jogging you might want to take up the Health Unlocked Bridge to 10k.
