Week 3.....

So I’ve completed the 3 wk 3 runs, I know I dont have to rush to week 4, but I don’t think there’s any way I could make the jump at the moment. I will repeat week 3 a few more times definitely but, do you think sometimes you just have to make that jump....?

I can see myself in week 3 forever 😂

Hey Beth-monkey - you've completed Week 3 (woo hoo!) so why not give Week 4 a try? Each time I completed a week I thought I wouldn't be able to step up to the next week, but so far I have managed it. So give it a go, and if it's difficult, treat it as a practice run. The programme really does work, and prepares you each week for that extra bit of continuous running. Whatever, you decide, good luck!😀👍💪

Ha ha! That's funny! You're right though - you can always go back or repeat, but if you just give it a go you might surprise yourself. One piece of advice that you've no doubt seen on this forum is to keep it really slow and steady as your running time increases - it worked for me. You can work on speed at a later date - this programme is all about building up your stamina, and running for the specified time. Speed is immaterial. Anyway, good luck, and let us know how you get on! 😀

If you have successfully completed all of week 3 you are ready to do week 4. Repeating weeks is for when yu have not been able to complete all of the runs.

Hi Beth-monkey, I agree with JoP61, give it a whirl! You might amaze yourself - and nothing wrong with a practice run if you need one. 😃

I think I will! When I posted I was set I needed to repeat week 3. But you’re right what’s to lose? Sat morn I will give it a go!
