Today was W3R1 and I am walking around the house with a huge grin on my face ๐Ÿ˜. Listening to Michael Johnson saying "Well done" at the end is great. My partner whilst supportive doesn't quite understand the buzz that exercise can give. So I'm ready for the next one and sending lots of positive vibes to everyone who like me haven't run for years and are getting back into it. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜

Great job... and if your partner doesnโ€™t get why youโ€™re pumped right now, thereโ€™s only one way they can find out ๐Ÿคฃ.

MJ is the bomb - I was thinking about him while I was out trotting a good 5K just now - I could not have done this 6 months ago but he pulled me through it. Keep going - it is doing me the power of good.

MJ is the best - so smooth ๐Ÿ˜

When he tells you you're doing great, it's such a good feeling ๐Ÿ˜Š

Happy running ๐Ÿƒ โ˜บ๏ธ

I'm starting week 3 next week and am experiencing a little trepidation about running for 3 minutes. How did you find it?

I tried to focus on the number of repetitions rather than the minutes I was running, lots of positive self talk helps. It went very quickly. Don't start off too quickly, I keep reminding myself I am building up slowly and don't want to burn out too soon. So my aim is to follow the programme and complete each session. Good luck ๐Ÿ˜

You can do it -have a point to look at in the distance, maybe a telegraph pole or lampost and keep focusing on it until you reach it to keep your mind off the time - then when you reach it pick the next point. Step after step, you are doing it, girl.

Well done. I too completed W3R1 today - I must say I was surprised at the shorter distance covered. I had wrongly assumed I would be going a further distance each day ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Yes I also thought that, because mine is a circular route the temptation for me is to try to do more but I am being very strict and keeping to the programme ๐Ÿ˜

I did W3R1 today, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. I didn't cover as much distance as before - I only went 3 and a bit times round the park instead of 4 times. However, I wasn't knackered at the end and my knees didn't ache, so I'm counting that as a positive! :-)
