Was really dreading today's run as I've been struggling with motivation and felt like this was a big milestone run - and one I didn't want to fail! I was stuck at W5 for a while due to not feeling too well (physically I managed to get norovirus, and I felt really demotivated) and going away for a week where I didn't run, so it feels like completing week 6 has been a long time coming!
So pleased I went for it - it was definitely not easy but I survived! And feel soooo much better for it. Possibly my first runners high for c25k take 2??
Things are not easy at the moment for anyone and it just feels good to have achieved something, and to prioritise my mental health as it's always hard to get out there but usually feel better for it.
Stay safe everyone xx

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, glad that you have recovered from the norovirus, that is NOT coronavirus.
Great job... never fear a run, no one run will ever define a runner. That said, you were right about one thing here ... this was a big milestone run. You got this now... nice steady run next time out. Enjoy.
Glad you posted this - I’ve just rerun W6 R1 (which is as far as I went in my first attempt at C25K) and I was already getting a massive mental block about the step up to 25 minutes at the end of this week. It helps to know I’m not the only one and it can be overcome 😊
Definitely. I felt like the jump from five to eight minute runs was much more mentally and physically challenging than the runs in week 6. Keep going, we're getting there!
