Morning guys. I am on 2nd week of consolidation runs. My outer thighs from hip downwards always start hurting when I’m running and after seem to seize up if I sit still too long. I do stretches and warm up 5 min before run and cool down walk and stretches when get back. Any ideas what’s wrong ?

Are you doing dynamic stretching pre run?

The obvious and not intentionally flippant response is to make sure that you don't sit still for too long.

I do stretches pre run but maybe I need more. It doesn’t take long to seize up when sitting after a run. Unfortunately my job is sitting 8 hours a day I do walk for an hour at lunch time and try to move now and again from desk. I will try more dynamic stretches thanks 🙏

I asked if you did dynamic stretching prior to running. It is not recommended to do static stretching before a run.
