Week 6

Due to a few niggles in my knee I did run 1 on the treadmill and smashed it, I pushed myself more than I have before. Just done run 2 around the local park and I did fab on the first 10minutes but the second 10 I was so slow. I’m so disappointed in myself and feel I’ve let myself down. I’m hoping that once I’m on the continuous runs with no stopping, I’ll be able to build myself up because I know the slower I go the worse it is, I just can’t seem to push myself outside as much as I do on the treadmill. I know the conditions are completely different but I can make myself go faster whereas outside I can’t seem to! Not really sure of the point of this post just needed to vent I guess!

There is definitely a point to your email. Keep going you can do it. So not all of your sessions are going to be perfect but you're doing them and that's great.

Mrsscoops don't beat yourself up, it's so common to run a second section slower than the first! Others will set off slow and then increase their speed, it's what works for the individual.
