For some reason I just couldn't get into my stride ! My breathing was all over the place and mentally just willing to give up ! So gutted as couldn't believe I done the 20 min run ! Feel really disappointed in myself as this was 2 sets of 10 min runs ! Am going to give it another go today , have been so proud of myself up until now π the only thing I can think of was maybe a bit of jet lag from travelling the day before ! And was a wee bit windy !!! (Outside not me ) lol

Failed week 6 run2 π©
Aah, the infamous tricky week 6. Lots of peeps come unstuck at this week so you are not alone. Think it's something to do with the euphorics of the W5R3 run π
The jet lag could definitely have played a part. But sometimes some runs just don't go to plan.
It's behind you now so big breath and try again. Leave a rest day before trying again.
Don't see it as a failure- you were out there running, after all. Just see it as a practice. I hope today's run goes better.
If you find you are struggling, just stop and allow your breathing to return to normal, then push on. You only need to go very slowly, no need to push things at all
A run can usually be saved by stopping to gather yourself ππββοΈβοΈπ
You haven't failed, it was just a practice- we all have them! And a practice run is better than no run You can do this!
HAVE A REST DAY!!!!!!!
If you don't complete a run then only repeat it after at least one rest day.
You can't expect your body to perform normally if jetlagged or if not properly rested and hydrated (air flights do tend to dehydrate). Whereas you can bluff your way through daily life while knackered, your body is not going to play ball when you attempt strenuous exercise.
Rest, regroup and come back refreshed and positive.
Happens to us all. I graduated in June. Just over a week ago I ran my first race and for the first time I finished 5k in under 30 mins. I ran my heart out. Yesterday I did a Parkrun at a different location as I had been away for a week on holiday with my family. I just couldn't do it and struggled my way around the course. I was exhausted. Ended up walking a few times. But I kept going and finished.
Take a couple of rest days and you'll be fine. We all have crappy days. But the good ones make it all worth while.

Her majesty Irishprincess is so right... just have a rest and head out slowly, knowing that this time... you will do it
PS
No mention of the 'f' word on here...practice run..or blip...
I did it !!!!!!! Wooohoooooo
Well done Sabaohπ...
Onwards and upwards..after at least one rest day.
Good luck..nice and steady with R3.x
Albeit I'm sure people could walk faster than I jog π
