Oh the frustration- after getting mind and body back on track and enjoying running. I was back to 30 mins 2-3 times a week and aiming for park run when bam a virus (no not that one) meant I have an ear infection and perforated eardrum - resulting in deafness in both ears and problems with balance. I can barely navigate around the house let alone run. Feeling very sorry for myself but trying to just hold on to the promise of the joy of running again once I am fully recovered.

I can really appreciate your frustration and I hope your soon on the mend . Be positive and reframe your thoughts think it’s not an injury which will influence future attempts you will recover and soon be back out there x think off it as a rest and recovery time to make you stronger for your summer running . Now I need to practice at taking my own advice😂😂😂
Oh poor you, that sounds really unpleasant...hope you feel better soon!
And as you say frustrating coz you've worked so hard to get where you are...but keep in mind you'll only lose a bit of fitness over a couple of weeks so once you're better you'll be back to 2/3 times a week in no time.
That sucks. I have experience of having a head on the spin cycle 🤢. Hope it clears up soon. I am also on hiatus having a bout of reactive arthritis (caused by an ear infection I think...), so can't run at the mo either, and I got back to 30 mins about 2 weeks ago, so I feel your frustration. We'll get back to it when we can though and hopefully not far off that magic 30 minute mark.
