Did an unplanned run this afternoon ‘just because I fancied it’. Who would’ve thought it?! 😱

Anyway, I listened to this week’s Runners World podcast, with Dame Kelly Holmes as a guest. It makes for a good listen 👂🏻👍🏻

I’ve posted my running story on here (it’s in another of my posts if you’re interested) and I bang on about this a lot-I’ve learnt so much more than just how to run with the couch to 5k programme.

I started it instead of entering a downhill couch and glasses of wine spiral. It really is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made 🙏🏻

As well as my own well-being, my daughters life has benefitted hugely. We’ve had a great 3 months so far with running in our lives 🏃🏽‍♀️

We eat better, sleep better and really do have the best fun ❤️

Running is the gift that keeps on giving 💝

You are a fantastic person, so glad this plan has helped you to a better physical and mental life. I think the impact on our mental health is often overlooked as people do fitness for weight loss etc. Without being mentally healthy all aspects of life and family suffer. Well done you. Happy running.

Isn’t it just!! Keep on keeping on with your daughter! Wonderful to hear every success story.

I should’ve said-but was too excited that I’d done a run-the Runners World podcast with Dame Kelly Holmes has a focus on mental health 👍🏻🏃🏽‍♀️
