W5R2 minor fail

Morning guys, got back on the treadmill last night for W5R2. Proud that I ran for a whole 8 minutes! But struggled to do the second one...its tougher on the treadmill as you can't fluctuate your speed so easily. Also it really is mind over matter...tried to keep my brain distracted with a podcast...a really empowering one about how bad diet culture is called 'Rebel Eaters Club'...but as soon as I notice that 'crikey I'm still running' it all goes belly up (pun intended!). Hopefully I'll start getting used to longer runs and, as it's getting lighter, give up the treadmill!

Anyone got any good non-running related podcasts to recommend? Xx

I've never run on a treadmill so I have nothing but respect. Outside running is all I know, and I never use headphones when I run. Hopefully someone will come along with a useful suggestion for you, but I just wanted to say well done so far!

I really enjoy Ted Radio Hour. I don’t listen to every episode, I just go through and read the descriptions to pick ones that interest me.

Basically, they take past TED speakers and interview them, intertwined with snippets of their actual TED talk, to create an episode that sort of brings together the knowledge from 2-4 TED talks into one.

It’s always about 50 minutes to an hour, so it gets me nicely through my run and a nice long stretch afterward (sometimes even part of the drive home!)
