As the late Ian Drury sung, reasons to be cheerful:
1. It’s sunny
2. It’s not raining (yet)
3. It’s my birthday....
What better way to spend it by going for a lovely 5K jog along the seafront.
The jog wasn’t anything spectacular which I wasn’t surprised at given that February was a bit of a wash out for getting out plus half term and work commitments. However it was very freeing today to run with no time constraints and just the sea waves to accompany the soundtrack to my run.
Thankfully Nike reminded me it was indeed my birthday but I would say it was more snail than dash!
Back home to make & bake my birthday cake to share with the rest of the family later this evening.
Happy running everyone xx

Happy birthday Beth! I love to run on my birthday, too – it really is a treat! (I see my partner raising an eyebrow at this, but he has yet to catch the running bug)
