Wk7 R2 - good for the soul!

I've had some bad news to deal with this week and have felt tearful quite a lot of the time. Really didnt fancy going on my second run of week seven, in the relentless rain today, but I did. And it was as tough as ever (and my feet got wetπŸ€½β€β™€οΈ) but afterwards I felt euphoric! It's so true that running and exercise gives you a high and boosts your spirits. All the more incentive to carry on with the rest of the programme. Nearly there πŸƒ

Huge well done you.. sorry about the sadness in your life right now, but glad that you ran and let it all float away...and that it recharged you !

Sorry to hear that you are heaving to deal with some sad news right now.

Well done on pushing yourself to get out there and do your run though - amazing. Guess it’s a little reminder as to why this running business is so good for us πŸ™‚

Thank you 😊

Sorry to hear about your bad news and yes exercise helps as it gets you away from the situation and you come back feeling better able to tackle it.

Sometimes when life is tough it’s easy to sit and dwell, but if you get out and run then you feel better able to deal with things, it’s horrible weather so well done you

Well done for the run and your positive approach. Once you realise how running helps to calm a racing mind it's just amazing! Good luck

We sure do. I find, even if I can't run, just being outdoors and moving helps.

Best wishes x

I am with you 100% (Although just going into wk 6). I have been dealing with a close family member being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and all that comes along with that...around the time of diagnosis I started C25K and it really has helped me press on through each day. Hugs to you - take care!!

With things like exercise they are things you can do something about and although it can't change what's happened it makes you feel better in yourself in coming to terms with it.
